I’ve lived across from Baby Beach, Lahaina for 10 years. During my daily walk, I pick up anything that a bird or fish can’t digest: oars, nets, fishing line, etc. From these collected materials I made a collage, which was purchased by a collector. Now I’m starting again. I leave the bottles and cans by trash bins so the people collecting recyclables can cash in.
I swim everyday after work, so this is my Kuleana.
