The West Maui Ridge to Reef Initiative and the West Maui Kumuwai Campaign invite West Maui properties and landscaping companies to participate in an initiative to help coastal properties become more “ocean-friendly!” We have created a new Property Pledge to assist managers in identifying steps they can take to reduce polluted runoff from their properties.

Mahalo to Maui Kai, the first condo property to adopt the Property Pledge!
West Maui Kumuwai and partners are planning to feature the properties which have taken the pledge in a media ceremony in celebration and recognition of ocean-friendly businesses as part of the Ridge to Reef Rendezvous, the annual community stewardship event held at Kahekili Beach Park on Saturday July 23rd. Properties wishing to be included in this event should review and agree to 10 of the 20 checklist items and contact us by July 18th.
