What we do
This is a different kind of campaign. We shine a spotlight on the actions of everyday people and community heroes to promote the health of our ocean. We tell stories about what’s happening in our community. We hold events where you can lend a hand alongside your neighbor. But most of all, we offer ways in which you can help curb the amount of pollutants that are harming our ocean—and we try to make those actions easy enough to do. We’re talking about things that you can do at home or in your yard, like the type of fertilizer you use or picking up after your pooch.
With the involvement of West Maui residents like you and with the support of local businesses and organizations, we’re confident that together we can make big strides in preserving our unique way of life. And by that, we mean our close relationship with the ocean and this place we call home—from paddling and fishing, to surfing and snorkeling. We have it good here and we want to keep it that way.
